At the Center Ranch Training Facility, our goal is to establish each horse's learning curve and physical abilities to maximize their training potential. We also recognize the challenge in maintaining a healthy balance between arena training and riding over the ranch. For example, we frequently ride our horses over the ranch's many acres and through herds of cattle often encountering obstacles which go against a horse's natural instinct. In these crucial moments, the manner in which a horse is handled to overcome his fears could open or close the door to success in the training arena.

We use several training methods, including rider-operated mechanical flags, a state-of-the-art computer programmable mechanical calf, and live heifers to train our cutting horse futurity prospects. Our objective is to teach a horse to read and work a cow in an individual style that is conducive to keeping the remainder of the herd calm, while optimizing the horse's individual eye appeal.

Our first class training amenities including a large ventilated and covered arena with stalls, covered breaking roundpen/walker, and a hydrotherapy equine spa.
